Profile: Dr. Suha Al Juboori

Dr. Suha Aljuboori is a distinguished college professor with over 18 years of experience in
computer science education. Passionate about fostering student development at all academic
levels, she has dedicated her career to enhancing students’ knowledge of programming, data
structures, and artificial intelligence.


Dr. Aljuboori, a Ph.D. in Computer Science (2006) focusing on secure systems, has significantly
impacted the academic community through her leadership roles. She serves as the Chair of the
Artificial Intelligence Department (2024) and the Computer Information Department Chair
(2019–2024), where she oversaw curriculum development, managed faculty operations, and
facilitated communication between departments and administration.


Her teaching portfolio spans many courses, including Python programming, C++, Data
Structures, Algorithm Design, Assembly Language, Artificial Intelligence, and AI Ethics. She has
also developed specialized programs, such as AI and Machine Learning Certificates, ensuring
students receive up-to-date training aligned with industry trends.


Dr. Aljuboori’s commitment to diversity in technology is evident in her active mentorship of
students and her leadership in diversity initiatives. Her creation and leadership of numerous girls’
coding camps and computer literacy workshops for women have been instrumental in bridging
the gender gap in tech education.


As a Lead Facilitator for AI workforce programs, Dr. Aljuboori continues to play a pivotal role in
preparing students and professionals for the evolving demands of the tech industry. Her expertise
